Abstract: By collecting and sorting out the coal mine accidents that happened in 2012, characteristics and laws of coal mine accidents are counted and analyzed in accordance with the occuring time, mine ownership and accident type. Main causes of coal mine accidents are expounded in this paper and major precautions and proposals are offered to provide an essential support for continuous improvement of safty in coal mine production.
